Dwarf Puerto Rican is a dwarf plantain.
The heads of fruit are a little larger than the original Plantain bearing seven to nine hands of fruit. It is widely grown in Puerto Rico for its taste and cooking qualities.
The majority of plantains grow tall, ‘Dwarf Puerto Rican’ is an exception.
